RODNEY RICH (President/CEO)
Rodney L. Rich began in the insurance and investment fields in 1968, while attending Florida State University College of Law. He formed Rodney Rich & Company in 1976 to assist individuals and corporate clients with financial planning and benefits needs. As President of Rodney Rich & Company, Rodney focuses on individual investment, insurance, and both corporate and individual retirement plans. Rodney holds both his securities license and life and health license. He also received the Registered Health Underwriter designation from the Health Insurance association of America.
Rodney has lived in the Pensacola area since 1950, and is active in many aspects of the Pensacola community. He was a former financial vice president of the Pensacola Jaycees, a charter member and subsequent president of Pensacola Sertoma Club. Rodney also served Sertoma as an honored District Governor and was subsequently elected to the International Board of Sertoma International. He was the inaugural president of the International Association of Financial Planners for the Gulf Coast Chapter, and has served on the board of advisors for the Florida State University College of Business. Rodney served eight years on the Board of Directors for the Santa Rosa County Education Foundation, served on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Think First, First Time. Rodney was selected to serve the Florida Bar in 2000 on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the First Judicial Circuit. He served on the Community Advisory Board of the Junior League of Pensacola and currently serves as chair of the advisory board of the Pensacola Young Professional organization and on the Board of Directors for the Fiesta of Five Flags.
KATHIE JEFFCOAT (Senior Vice President)
Kathie Jeffcoat joined Rodney Rich & Company in August 1978. She is Senior Vice President and is responsible for all Sales and Marketing of the Employee Benefits Division. She provides leadership in her role by creating strategic marketing partnerships with insurance carriers and also focuses on client retention.
With over 30 years of experience as a Licensed Life and Health Agent as well as holding her Series 6 Securities License and Series 63, she is a Specialist for fully insured and self-insured medical insurance plans. She has been a speaker on various topics for many Professional groups in the Panhandle of Florida, including SHRM of Pensacola and the Legal Administrators in Tallahassee and Pensacola.
She is also committed to serving her community and was recognized as one of five women honored as 2008 Outstanding Women in Business and was the Community Choice for Outstanding Woman in Business. She has served in various capacities over the past ten years for United Way of Escambia County and was awarded the United Way Service Award in 2006. She is also a past board member and active member of Impact 100.
CHAD RICH (Vice President)
Chad Rich joined Rodney Rich & Companyin 2003. Chad is Vice President and has over 18 years of experience providing employee benefits packages for employers up to 10,000 employees. Chad was born in Pensacola, FL and graduated from Florida State University in 1992 with a B.S. in Marketing. Chad relocated to the Tampa Bay Area and has worked as a Senior Sales Consultant for Standard, MetLife, and UNUMProvident insurance companies. While at those companies, he managed and built upon a block of business that was approximately $50 Million while consistently exceeding goals and ranking in the top 10% of the Country.
Chad has been active in the community serving as Past President and Secretary of the Tampa Bay Group Insurance Association and as a member of the Health Underwriters Association. He is a Rotarian and served on the Board for Gulf Breeze Rotary leading various committees such as the High School Scholarship Committee and chairing numerous fundraising events. He has served on the Fiesta Forces Board which assists with community events in the City of Pensacola. He is a graduate of the Leadership of Pensacola (LeaP) Program through the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce and serves on their Alumni Board. He has also served on the Board of his Congregation. He is a licensed Life and Health Agent and also holds his Series 6 & 63 designation for securities and investments.
CHAD STACY (Financial Advisor)
Chad Stacy joined Rodney Rich & Companyin 2010. Chad is a Financial Advisor and has been in the Financial Services Industry for seven years. A Prattville, AL native, Chad graduated from Auburn University with a BA degree in Business Finance, in 2004. He then spent two years in the Headquarters of St. Louis based brokerage firm Edward Jones.
Chad gained hands-on experience working with clients across the country, as well as managing over 100 million in assets for more than 10 offices at any given time. In 2006, Chad took over the branch office in Orange Beach, AL, and 5 months later took over a Pensacola office. Chad specializes in retirement planning and trust management. Chad is a Financial Advisor who holds a Series 7, 63 and 65 License, as well as a Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Insurance License.
Chad is very involved in the community. He is the President-Elect for Pensacola Young Professionals, serves on the Young Professionals Board for Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Northwest Florida, Board of Governors for Propeller Club of Pensacola, member of 2010 class of Leadership Pensacola, Charter Member of Seville Rotary Club, Life Member of Auburn University Alumni Association, and a member of the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
KARA RICH, LTCP (Long Term Care Specialist)
Kara Rich joined Rodney Rich & Company in April 2003. Kara is a Long Term Care Specialist she manages the Long Term Care Department, which focuses on both group and individual Long Term Care.
As a specialist in Long Term Care, Kara received her Long Term Care Professional (LTCP) designation from the Health Insurance Association of America. She previously worked for UNUMPROVIDENT where she received a national service award and numerous sales awards. Kara also has experience with Group Employee Benefits and has worked for SunLife and Fortis as an Employee Benefit Consultant.
Kara graduated with a B.S. from the University of Florida and now lives in Gulf Breeze with her husband, Chad, and her children, Jakob and Delaney. Kara is involved with the Junior League of Pensacola, IMPACT 100, and currently serves on the Santa Rosa Education Foundation.
BRENDA SANFORD (Director of Account Management)
Brenda Sanford joined Rodney Rich & Company in August 1998. She is Director of Account Management and is responsible for 50+ Employer Group Clients. She assists the Human Resource Managers with renewals, claims, and administration regarding employee benefit issues.
With over 10 years experience as a Licensed Life and Health agent, National SHRM member, as well as 10 plus years in office management for a large employer in the Pensacola Area, she can assist with various day to day aspects and be a valuable asset to every Human Resources Department.
Brenda graduated from East Central Community College in Mississippi with an Associate in Business and later attended Pensacola Christian College. She volunteers her time in her community by being an active committee member for Boy Scouts of America Troop 676, current Board Member for Community Drug and Alcohol Council, and is a Director for the Greater Pensacola Society of Human Resource Management. She is an active member of The Campus Church and work in various youth related ministries.
JONATHAN K. RHEINFURTH (Account Executive)
Jonathan K. Rheinfurth joined Rodney Rich & Company in January 2008. He is an Account Executive and specializes in Sales and oversees the Renewal Department. He is responsible for marketing and coordinating group medical and ancillary benefits for renewal and new business. He is also the internal systems administrator and is responsible for server backup systems, server administration, website/software development, and end user software interfaces.
He moved to Pensacola after graduating from The University of Alabama in Huntsville where He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in Management Information Systems. He has now worked as a business professional in the Pensacola area for over six years.
Jonathan is a member of the Pensacola Adult Soccer Organization and a native of Huntsville, Alabama, but today calls Pensacola, Florida his home.
MELISSA CRUISE (Account Executive)
Melissa Cruise joined Rodney Rich & Companyin March 2009. She is an Accounts Manager and is responsible for assisting with all aspects of Employer Group Clients. She also assists the Human Resource Managers with billing, enrollment, and claims resolution, regarding employee benefit issues. Melissa is responsible for building and managing the HRConnection Client Portals.
With over 5 years Human Resource experience, Melissa is a Licensed Life and Health agent, and has experience in the public work sector as well as with the government, working 4 years with a major defense contractor at Eglin Air Force Base. She can assist with various day-to-day aspects and is a valuable asset to our Group Benefits Department.
AMBER KELLEY(Account Executive)
Amber Kelley joined Rodney Rich & Company in May 2011. She is the Account Executive handling all aspects of our company including Employee Benefits and Securities. She has nearly ten years of administrative experience that includes marketing, recruiting, records and financial management.
Amber is a native of Pensacola graduating from Pensacola State College. She serves on the Board of Directors for Pensacola Young Professionals. As the Vice President of Marketing, she oversees all media for the organization including press releases, newsletters, and the PYP Annual Report.
