Rodney Rich began in the insurance and investment fields in 1968 and formed Rodney Rich & Company in 1976 to assist individuals and corporate clients with financial planning and benefits needs. As President, he focuses on total employee benefit needs. In May 2015, Rodney was listed as an elite member of the *Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Plan Advisors who specialize in serving defined contribution retirement plans. The FT 401 is an independent listing based on data gathered from financial advisors, firms, regulatory disclosures, and FT research. Neither the brokerages nor the advisors pay a fee for inclusion in the FT 401. He was listed a Top Advisor again in Sept 2016.

Rodney is very active in the Pensacola community, making it a better place to live and work. He enjoys travel, fishing and hunting, college football (especially FSU) and helping others.

Vice President, Chad Rich, is responsible for all aspects of overall benefit management, including construction and development of the best plans possible for employers and employees, negotiating prices with carriers, and creating RFPs to broadly market and gather the most efficient pricing. He believes in a “hands on” approach to overseeing his service team and being available for clients. He also assists with educational employee meetings that create an easy open enrollment to aid employers.
In his 14 years with Rodney Rich & Company, Chad says, “I have enjoyed being a part of an organization that truly helps clients and employees. Whether I am helping with a 401k or health insurance plan, I feel good knowing I have a team that can make a good difference!”
Chad is a Rotarian and serves on the board for a local hospital. His favorite pastime is spending time with his children on the family’s boat and at soccer games.
Brenda Sanford, Vice President of Operations and Client Solutions, is responsible for overseeing the service team and assisting benefit administrators. She assists the benefits team and works with HR managers on renewals, enrollments, claims and administration of all group benefits. This includes presenting education meetings and seminars on employee benefits and human resource topics, including Health Care Reform. She strategically works with the sales team and the account executives to coordinate and bring value to each client’s HR department.
Looking back on her 18 years with Rodney Rich & Company, Brenda stated, “Knowing I have made a positive difference in someone’s life, whether assisting an HR professional, an employee or a covered dependent, at the end of the day, makes me feel successful.”
Brenda is active in the community, serving on the local GPSHRM and CDAC Boards. Her favorite pastime is spending quiet time with her family and reading.
Ashley Hudson is currently serving as the Financial Services Coordinator. She has been with Rodney Rich & Company since 2014. In the past, she primarily worked with large groups in group benefits. More recently, she has taken on the role of Financial Services Coordinator, assisting the company’s investment and 401k plan advisors.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys traveling to historical sites and places and spending time with family.
Brooke joined Rodney Rich & Company in 2014. She is licensed as a Life and Health agent and works with small groups, quoting for benefits, as well as being an account executive for the group benefits department. She focuses primarily on assisting clients with enrollments and account service, as well as helping to find the best possible benefits and rates for small group quoting.

In her spare time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her family, biking and going to the beach.
Kathleen Riley is Senior Account Executive. She assists our clients with benefits management, including employee education, billing reconciliation and claims issues. She works closely with other team members to ensure that all client needs are met. Kathleen is also responsible for building and maintaining the online benefits enrollment system that many of our clients utilize.
Having worked at Rodney Rich & Company since the fall of 2012, Kathleen explains, “The service team at Rodney Rich & Company is knowledgeable and works well together to provide the best care for our clients.”
When she’s not working, Kathleen loves spending time at the beach, playing tennis and hanging out with her lovable Golden Retriever, Oliver. She and her husband, an officer in the US Marine Corps, live in North Carolina.
Pam Hopko is an Account Executive. She joined Rodney Rich & Company in 2016. Pam is proficient in handling daily enrollments, billing and audits as well as ACA Reporting.

Outside of work, Pam enjoys exploring the local biking and hiking trails, spending time with her family and relaxing with a good book.
Viviana Salas is an Account Executive. She joined Rodney Rich & Company in 2017. Viviana has worked in the Administrative Medical field for over 20 years. She currently handles enrollments, billing, audits & she translates our materials for our Spanish speaking clients.

Pat Holtman, Service Team Advocate, joined Rodney Rich & Company in March 2018. She provides support to our account executives with benefit enrollments and changes. Pat has over 20 years of Human Resources experience in the health care field and is available to assist our clients HR professionals whenever needed.

Pat serves on the Santa Rosa County board of the American Cancer Society and is their Road to Recovery Volunteer Coordinator. She also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, a voice for abandoned, abused or neglected children in our community. In her free time, Pat enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling with her husband on their Harley and relaxing on the beach.
